Andy started his musical journey at nine when we began piano lessons and trumpet at school. He has never stopped playing both in and out of school, getting his BA in Jazz Performance at CSUEB and performing around the Bay Area. For the past ten years he has been working at Richmond High School building the music program to have bands, orchestra, and music production courses. This is his thirteenth year at La Honda music camp and he is looking forward to another summer in the redwoods making music and memories.
